Job Title: Business Development Manager – Custom Merchandise & Corporate Gifting

Company: Muggz

Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Flexible entry – commission-based trial available)


ABOUT MUGGZ

Muggz is a fast-moving UK-based customisation business specialising in personalised mugs, coasters, and cards. We combine creative design with a high-capacity fulfilment setup, allowing us to quickly deliver fully customised orders — even at scale.


Our edge? Mass personalisation with speed. We can print and deliver hundreds of personalised mugs, each with unique names or messages, within days. We’re ideal for businesses that want meaningful merchandise without hassle.


Now we’re looking to grow — and we’re seeking a Business Development Manager who can tap into new B2B, education, events, and promotional markets.


THE OPPORTUNITY

This role is perfect for someone with the energy and creativity to open new doors in:

* Corporate gifting and branded merchandise
* Event organisers and awards ceremonies
* Schools, clubs, and associations
* SME marketing and HR departments
* Promotional merch retailers and gifting consultants
* Franchises, car dealerships, and other multi-site businesses


Whether it's 200 mugs with individual customer names or coasters customised for an awards night, Muggz can deliver — and you can lead the charge.


INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS

* Identify and contact businesses, schools, agencies, and event partners who need branded or personalised merch.
* Position Muggz as the go-to partner for flexible, fast-turnaround customised products.
* Manage your own outreach – no limits on how or where you sell.
* Test the opportunity via a commission-only arrangement before transitioning to a full-time commitment (optional).


ABOUT YOU

You might be:

* A sales professional or merchandiser with connections in gifting, events, or corporate promotions.
* Someone with a strong network in schools, HR, or marketing departments.
* A creative thinker who spots opportunities for custom products in unexpected places.
* A doer – someone who’s motivated by fast results and commercial wins.


This is less about rigid sales systems and more about your ability to open conversations and convert opportunities.
