Salary: £30,000 - £34,000

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor based at Immingham on a one year Fixed Term Contract. To provide day to day HR generalist support across the VPI Group in relation to all HR Queries, Employee Benefits, Recruitment, Training and Development, Employee Relations, and other administration for the VPI group employees in line with best practice and statutory obligations.
To support the HR Manager and HR Team on various projects.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
Provide advice and guidance to line managers on employee performance, conduct, absence management and HR policies.
Manage employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
Support the HR team throughout the recruitment and selection process.
Produce job offer letters and contracts of employment.
Maintain accurate employee records on the HRIS system (Cascade), including contracts, data and documentation.
Organise and coordinate employee onboarding and induction processes.
Provide administrative support across all HR activities.
Work with the HR Administrator and HR Team to produce the monthly HR Dashboard.
Support the HR Manager with delivery and completion of HR projects.
Contribute to continual improvement of HR processes and services.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
CIPD qualification, with evidence of continuing professional development.
HR generalist experience in a similar role.
Experience using HR systems.
Strong understanding of UK employment law.
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical capability.
Self-motivated, organised, and able to work autonomously.
