Main duties of the job
This post is offered permanent, full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 8/8.30am - 4/4.30pm.
Please note, the successful candidate will be an essential car user, therefore candidates must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Job responsibilities
Are you an experienced Senior Physiotherapist that is passionate about holistic end of life care?
Would you find it rewarding to provide specialist physiotherapy interventions across hospice services?
This role works across our hospice services, including the Inpatient Unit, Community settings and the Wellbeing Centre, supporting patients to maintain comfort, function and quality of life.
We are seeking a confident communicator and leader to work with the team ensuring care is delivered safely, compassionately and to a consistently high standard.
Senior Physiotherapy role brings:
* High standards of holistic and individualised patient care, embracing the hospice's vision and values
* Assess, plan and implement a wide range of interventions
* Plan, deliver and evaluate physiotherapy led exercise and education groups within the Wellbeing Centre
* Monitor, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of interventions
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy
* State Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Evidence of post registration education
* Current driving licence and use of a car
* Membership of ACPOPC
Experience
* Minimum of 2 years post registration experience
* Experience of working with palliative care, oncology, neurology, community or care of the elderly patients
* Sound knowledge and application of physiotherapy assessments and interventions
* Ability to plan, implement and evaluate careSpecialist palliative care experience
* Formal presentation and teaching skills
* Supervisory and appraisal skills
* Equipment assessment and provision experience
