Protocol Education are currently working with a thriving Secondary School in North Bristol, looking for a 1:1 Pupil Support.
The school is a large, modern building with space, community, outstanding learning and well-being at the heart of everything they do. The school is known for it's sports curriculum and contribution to Expressive Arts.
Role required
Pupil Support 1:1 with a young person with anxiety and behaviour needs
Start date: Monday 1st June
Days & Hours: Tuesday - Thursday, 9am - 320pm, term time only
Pay: £14.25 - £15.38 per hour (dependent on experience)
Skill set: Experience working with young people/healthcare background/youth worker background/Sports coaches
Expectations
* To work collaboratively with the student to support and engage them into school and lessons
* Offer a approach that is supportive and considerate of the students individual needs
* Lead with strong behaviour management and leadership to promote positive behaviour and expectations
* Differentiate work and tasks that co-ordinate in line with the students EHCP plan
* Work effectively with the staff team, specifically the SENCO
* To minimise disruption and change as much as possible
* Offer learning opportunities that interest and support the young person's ability and development
