We are international operating in India USA and the UK. In the UK all our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. Were still growing with 12 new nurseries opening each year! What being a Nursery Chef involves
Welcome to the heart of Kido where passion ambition and people are at the core of everything we do! As the Nursery Chef youll be more than just a chef; youll be an ambassador for our values and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture. Youll take the lead in ensuring the children are fuelled with wholesome food throughout the day. Your role goes beyond cooking as youll be an advocate for nutritious meals communicating our carefully curated menus to both children and parents.
The food youll prepare will be provided by our food partner which youll compliment by creating healthy and filling breakfast and snacks nourishing the children to empower their learning and play. The kitchen will be your domain and youll take the reins ensuring its a pristine and hygienic space for food prep owning tasks like washing up sterilising and general cleaning.
Youll be proud of operating to the highest standards complying with Health & Safety Environmental Health and COSHH regulations. By building strong relationships with the wider team youll ensure standards are maintained throughout the nursery and allergy policies are strictly adhered to.
We take pride in creating a nurturing environment that caters to individual needs acknowledging the diversity of each childs background culture disabilities and medical history. With great attention to detail youll ensure our nursery remains a sanctuary where every child can flourish and grow.
What were looking for
* For the Nursery Chef role it is essential that you hold a Level 2 or 3 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate. If you dont hold this already then we can help you to achieve this.
* Your values will align with our 3 core values Listen Learn and Lead
* You must hold the right to work in the UK
* If shortlisted youll be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions prior to interview in line with our Safer Recruitment process. We will also process an Enhanced DBS Criminal Record check for anyone who joins the team
