Our Technical Apprenticeship is a 4 year programme and is designed to help you grow step by step:
A BAM apprenticeship is a full time earn and learn position, where you will be involved in delivering multi million pound projects. Leaving a lasting legacy and positive change in our communities.
Our graduate apprenticeship is a 4 year,
Year 1 - Cert HE
Year 2 - DipHE
Year 3 - BEng
Year 4 - BEng (Hons)
Our apprentices attend different Universities across Scotland for either day release or block programmes.
Making Possible
Our construction works cover a range of different sectors and apprentices are based within a variety of different teams working on a wide range of projects, so the type of roles that we have are really varied and interesting. From day one on site you will be with an experienced team of professionals, supporting you to learn and grow your career as a BAM apprentice.
Construction managers are the construction professionals who make up our site management team. Our construction management apprentices work predominantly on site, supporting the delivery of projects. On a daily basis, our construction management apprentices will:
* liaise with clients and manage subcontractors
* manage quality
* manage the supply of materials and labour
* help to ensure that projects are delivered safely and on time

These positions are on projects across northern Scotland, highlands and islands, therefore candidates must be willing to travel, and living away from home may be required.

What do you bring to the role?
We are looking for candidates with a desire to develop a career in the construction industry, with the following skills and behaviours:
* Disciplined and able to manage degree level study and a busy job role
* Highly numerate with an attention to detail
* Able to adapt when priorities change
* Happy to work on site and travel as and when required
* Punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work
* Strong communication skills
Additional Requirements
* Due to the project nature of our business, Apprentices must be willing to travel and stay away from home when necessary
* As some of our projects are in remote areas, we also require all applicants to hold or be working towards gaining a full UK driving license before September 2026

Successful candidates will be invited to a virtual Interview via Microsoft Teams across March/April.
If successful at the interview stage, you will be invited to our final stage of recruitment with an in person assessment centre in Apil/May.
