Main duties of the job
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) has a vacancy to join the dynamic and friendly Bucks Breast Unit as a Specialty Doctor in Breast Surgery starting ASAP (exact starting dates may be negotiable and to be confirmed at interview with suitable candidates).

Skills and Knowledge

12. Ability to manage own workload
13. Ability to effectively communicate and work with a specialist surgical team
14. Flexibility to cover for colleague’s duties as and when required by the needs of the service
15. Ability to use relevant IT systems
Desirable criteria

Experience
Essential criteria
18. Experience at ST3+ level of General/Breast Surgery in relevant specialties
19. Ability to manage surgical patients as the senior surgical opinion on site
20. Clinical and technical skills appropriate to the grade
21. Special Clinical interest in Breast Surgery
22. Evidence of recent audit
23. Good grasp of audit methodology, and practice of Clinical Governance
Qualifications/Training
