We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Egham, United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents to start their day comfortably and positively.
* Assist residents with their morning routines, including personal care, dressing, and grooming
* Prepare and serve breakfast, ensuring dietary requirements are met
* Help residents with mobility, using appropriate moving and handling techniques
* Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff
* Engage in friendly conversation and provide emotional support to residents
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery
* Administer medication as directed by senior care staff, following proper protocols
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and empathetic approach
* Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Physical fitness to assist with residents' mobility needs
* Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commute to Egham for early morning shifts
* Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable but not required
* Basic understanding of elderly care or disability support would be advantageous
* Willingness to undergo necessary training and obtain relevant certifications
