Gas Installation Engineer
£42,847 - £45,102 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm
We are looking for a qualified domestic Gas Installation Engineer who can work both independently and as part of our team, completing a defined workload of installation jobs per day. You will join our gas installations team within Gas Operations at Sanctuary Property Services to assist with the servicing, maintenance, and installation of gas boilers and heating systems for our customers in South Essex, with occasional travel into Kent.
The role of Gas Installation Engineer will include:
* Carrying out installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems
* Undertaking direct replacements of combination type central heating boilers and conversions from Open Vented/Sealed Systems to combination boilers
* Installation of radiators and associated pipework
* Some repairs and servicing
* Responding positively to customer complaints and breakdowns to meet expectations
* Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition and replenishing stocks as needed
Skills and experiences:
* Candidates must be qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented - G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS) to ensure compliance with Building Safety legislation
* Ability to work independently on various boiler types and systems
* Proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment
* Must hold a valid UK driving licence, as the role involves driving on company business

The role salary is £42,847 per annum, rising to £45,102 after 12 months, subject to performance.
