The Role
This opportunity sits within the firm’s Corporate & Commercial / Projects team and offers exposure to a mix of corporate transactions, international projects and commercial contract work, particularly within the energy, infrastructure and logistics sectors.
The successful candidate will work on matters including:
* Corporate and M&A transactions including acquisitions, disposals, investments and joint ventures
* Drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and joint venture documentation
* Advising on international projects and infrastructure developments, including concession agreements and long-term licensing arrangements
* Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across logistics, transport and infrastructure sectors
* Supporting cross-border transactions, coordinating advice from international offices and local counsel
* Conducting due diligence, transaction management and completion processes
This role provides excellent exposure to international work and complex multi-jurisdictional transactions.
You will be:
* Qualified solicitor with 1–3 years’ PQE
* Experience gained within a City, international or leading commercial law firm
* Background in corporate, M&A, projects or commercial transactional work
* Strong drafting skills across transaction documentation and commercial contracts
* Excellent academics (minimum 2:1 degree)
* Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
* Commercial awareness and interest in energy, infrastructure or international projects
Previous experience in energy, logistics, ports, infrastructure or transport sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
