About this role
We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to support our customers across the water industry. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and calibrating a wide range of instrumentation, as well as delivering technical training to clients and end-users. You’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment is operating to the highest standards while building strong, long-term customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
* Servicing, repairing, and calibrating water industry instruments and equipment.
* Conducting routine maintenance and fault diagnosis on-site and in-house.
* Delivering technical training and support to customers and internal teams.
* Completing service reports, calibration certificates, and associated documentation.
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
* Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction through professional support.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a motivated Service Engineer with hands-on experience in instrumentation and calibration. The ideal candidate will be confident in troubleshooting, customer-facing, and able to provide training where needed.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Service Engineer, ideally within the water industry or similar process industries.
* Strong knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, and fault-finding.
* Ability to deliver technical training to customers and colleagues.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South UK region.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with water quality monitoring equipment.
* Formal training in instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
