Club Steward – Part-Time Opportunity

Pay: £12.21
Days and Hours: Saturday and Sunday; 9.30am – 6.30pm (every other weekend)

We’re currently recruiting for a Club Steward to support the smooth day-to-day running of a local indoor sports and social club. You’ll be the friendly face who greets members, manages bookings, handles payments, and helps maintain a professional and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone who visits.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome members and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive and professional atmosphere
Collect rink fees, hire charges, and other payments through the EPOS till system
Balance daily takings and maintain a float for the next shift
Allocate rinks using the club booking software and keep the diary up to date
Monitor and respond to daily emails, forwarding or escalating as necessary
Support the promotion of club events — creating posters, PowerPoint slides, and selling tickets or raffle entries
Record and sell club merchandise, clothing, and donated items
Ensure information boards and member notices are always current and well-presented
Report any faults or maintenance issues to the Club Manager
About You
Friendly, approachable, and professional
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confident using basic computer systems and email
Reliable and able to handle cash responsibly
Flexible to work on a rota, including occasional evenings or weekends
