About the team Supporting the financial operations of TVG by performing a wide range of accounting tasks. They are responsible for the accuracy of financial statements and information by ensuring accurate recording of transactions. About the role Responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks. Responsible for the accurate recording of transactions in the general ledger. Liaison with other departments within the company to pass on cash and customer related information. Performing balance sheet reconciliations. Supporting the VAT returns. Stock transactions and reconciliations. Responsible for Oracle controls – eg opening & closing the ledger. Responsible for Oracle access – giving people access/ signing limits/ DLA’s. Responding to audit requests forinformation and answering queries About you An understanding of double entry book keeping is required, ideally also working towards AAT or other accounting qualification. Working knowledge of Excel is a key requirement. Experience in Oracle and OBIEE The role requires understanding of our business operations relating to banking, customer receipts & adjustments, and supplier payments.
