Our client requires an Electronics Engineer based in the Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands.
The ideal candidate will be required to work on their own initiative in carrying out:
Evaluation of repairs of various electronic equipment
Dismantling and assessment of repairs
Repair and testing
Ability to interpret diagrams
Fault find PCB’s to component level
Background in diagnosis
Some programming experience desirable
Ability to reverse engineer preferred
Ability to solder through whole and/or surface mount PCB’s to IPC standard
Communicating with all members of staff and when required suppliers & customers
The ideal candidate would be preferred to have either:
City & Guilds level 3 or above in Electronics
HNC
Degree level in Electronics
Relevant experience
