Description Costain have been appointed by United Utilities as one of 7 partners to the Enterprise, delivering £5.5bn of projects in the Asset Management Period 8 (AMP8) between 2025 – 2030, and AMP 9 (2030 – 2035). Our scope is to provide project management, design, construction and commissioning services on design and build schemes throughout the North West and Cumbria region covered by United Utilities. Projects vary in value, covering both infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets on water and wastewater sites with wider Enterprise partners. The Enterprise Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Hub operates efficiently, remains well-organised, and provides a welcoming, professional environment for all new joiners to the Enterprise. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first impression and delivering a seamless onboarding experience. The Hub serves as the central point for induction, hosting a high volume of individuals joining the Enterprise. It comprises three core areas: • Induction Area – for orientation and initial engagement • Hazard School – for safety and compliance training • Skills Academy – for capability development and role-specific training This role is critical in fostering a positive onboarding experience and setting the tone for success within the Enterprise. Responsibilities • Maintaining the Hub’s presentation and functionality to reflect Enterprise standards • Coordinating and supporting induction activities for all new personnel • Acting as a point of contact for onboarding queries and support • Provide administrative assistance to the Enterprise Onboarding Hub, ensuring smooth operations. • Report workplace hazards, faults or damage to the correct channels and own their resolution • Act as a welcoming face to office visitors and support them during their time in the office • Support office coordination tasks and support sites to maintain clean, tidy and well-presented office facilities • Act as a day-to-day support contact for the Onboarding Hub • Promote a positive, helpful and professional office culture Qualifications • Friendly, approachable and comfortable interacting with people at all levels, including visitors. • Organised, reliable and able to manage competing tasks • Willing to carry out hands on duties such as tidying shared spaces and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a high-quality office environment • IT skills, including use of Microsoft applications and competency management systems • Able to work independently and use initiative • Be able to manage a team LI-JA1
