Deputy Clerk/Events Manager A vacancy has arisen as from 1 st November 2025 for the position of Deputy Clerk/Events Manager to Donnington and Muxton Parish Council. The Parish Council is looking for an experienced person to play a key role in delivering services and initiatives to its local community, as well as being proactive and helpful in supporting its councillors and residents. If you are someone who is motivated and organised, has excellent administration, IT and communication skills, then you might just be the ideal person to join our team! We are looking for someone who: can manage the bookings of its community hall manage a library and its volunteer staff organise Parish Council events such as its Christmas Festival and light switch on, children’s Christmas party, day trips to the seaside, spring fayres etc can manage and post Social Media posts (Facebook, X, Instagram) informing the community of Parish Council news and events. can create the quarterly Parish Council Newsletter. has personal resilience, excellent organisational and communication skills, self-motivation and the ability to multi-task.
