* About The Role

* Atlas Workplace Services have an opportunity for an experienced and reliable commercial/office Cleaning Supervisor to join our team.

o Full time - 30 hours per week
o Working week - Mon - Fri 14:00-20:00
o Rate - £13.60 per hour

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of site including (but not limited to):

o Dusting/cleaning of all office surfaces
o Dusting/cleaning of all reception areas and meeting rooms
o Cleaning of the office kitchen area
o Cleaning of the microwaves
o Cleaning of the refrigerators
o Vacuuming all carpeted areas
o Mopping of all hard floor surfaces
o The washing of all crockery and utensils including the filling and emptying of the dishwasher
o Spot cleaning of any stains on the carpet
o Ensuring that the cleaning cupboard remains clean and tidy
o Ensure all members of the on-site cleaning team work safely in accordance with QSHE guidelines and COSHH policy.
o Ensure all members of the on-site cleaning team carry out their tasks in accordance with their daily job cards and to the required standard.
o Monitor stock of products and condition of equipment informing your Line Manager/Supervisor of any products/equipment that requires replenishing/replacing.
o Inform your Line Manager/Supervisor of any defects noticed on site.
o Ensure that all work is carried safely in accordance with Company and Governmental policy.
o Observe all Client and company statutory fire and health and safety regulations.
o Accompany Salisbury Management and Client on Monthly Cleaning Audits to ensure that standards are achieved.

People

o Lead the team meeting their expectations and demonstrating fairness, equality and consistency at all times. Ensure all contractual and personnel training and development needs are addressed, staff comply with site rules, and project a professional image at all times particularly the wearing of uniform and engagement with customers.
o Maintain the highest professional standards, ensuring focus on a quality approach towards Clients. Manage your time effectively, co-operate with all requests for service and carry out all reasonable management requests
o Ensure site based inductions and toolbox talks are completed for all new and transferred in staff. Staff are to receive toolbox talks on a regular basis to maintain knowledge and skills.
Client and Customer Relationships
o Working in the best interests of the Client and customers at all times. Forming positive relationships based upon trust, openness and honesty.
o Promote a professional, corporate and positive image, be helpful and courteous at all times.
Freedom to Act
o Operate within agreed operational and/or management guidelines.
o Working within the limits of the Salisbury Corporate Governance.
o Freedom to escalate any H&S issues to Salisbury/Mapeley level in the event of serious concerns and to liaise with Salisbury’s Head of Health & Safety.

* Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required
o No formal qualifications required, training opportunities available.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role
o Experience in a similar role and a proven record in this type of work
o A basic knowledge use, handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
o A basic knowledge Material Safety Data Sheets
