Overview
NPI Manager – Chipping Norton. Salary £50,000‑£60,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits. Our client is a leading manufacturer that plans to expand and develop their business in the coming years. To support this growth and aid the Managing Director, they require an NPI Manager to develop and nurture new products from concept, through to production and product launch.
Responsibilities
Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include working within a small New Product Development team to take potential products through prototyping, internal and customer field testing, and into product launch. You will be involved in every stage of this process and will work with customers pre‑ and post‑product launch.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in NPD or NPI environments, preferably within manufacturing or industrial engineering.
* Experience managing product lifecycle from early design conception, through R&D, prototype, testing, introduction to production, and launch.
* Ideally a mechanical or materials science degree or equivalent work experience.
* Ability to work cross‑functionally with design, sales, production, and customers.
* Ideal knowledge of CAD software.
* Strong administrative skills and IT literacy, approachable nature, and enjoy liaising with people.
* Passion for new product development and willingness to roll up sleeves for development and testing.
Benefits
* Salary £60,000‑£70,000 per annum.
* Bonus: Company bonus scheme (0.25% of company net profit) after successful completion of probation.
