Job Summary
We are a newly registered domiciliary care provider based in Kent, seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Manager to help establish and lead our new home-care service.
You will take overall responsibility for service setup, CQC compliance, business development, and staff supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who enjoys shaping a service from the ground up and making a real difference in the community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service.
* Ensure full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and the Health & Social Care Act 2008.
* Develop person-centred care plans, risk assessments, and quality-assurance systems.
* Recruit, train, and supervise care staff; promote a positive, open culture.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities, including private clients and local authority contracts.
* Conduct spot checks, audits, and client reviews to maintain high-quality care delivery.
* Liaise professionally with families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.
* Prepare for CQC inspections and ensure all documentation and policies remain up to date.
* Work closely with the Nominated Individual to achieve growth and sustainability targets.
Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 1 year in a senior or management role within domiciliary or home care (Deputy or Senior Carer experience considered).
* Qualification: NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (Adults) – essential.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, MCA 2005, and Care Act 2014.
* Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
* Other: UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.

Hours & Salary
* 24 – 30 hours per week (flexible, part-time or hybrid)
* £28,000 – £32,000 per year (pro rata, depending on experience)
