Taylor Root is working with a global law firm to recruit a mid-level associate for its London-based TMT team.
The team advises on a broad range of standalone matters including commercial and technology contracts, intellectual property, and data protection. They also work closely with the firm’s PE and M&A practice, providing support on transactional matters.
In addition to their core work the team is increasingly active in advising clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of AI, working closely with clients that are deploying, investing in, or developing AI technologies. An interest in AI and its commercial implications is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years post-qualification experience, gained at a leading City firm or a well-regarded overseas common law practice. Strong drafting and analytical skills, a solid academic background are essential. An interest in engaging in business development would be welcomed.
