Chef de Partie – The Three Tuns, Bishops Castle, Shropshire
Overview
The Three Tuns – a historic pub at the heart of Bishops Castle – is reopening very soon, and we're building an ambitious new team to join us on this exciting journey. We're looking for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie to play a key role in our kitchen. Working alongside the Head Chef and wider team, you'll help deliver high-quality, freshly prepared food that celebrates great pub dining.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard.
* Manage your section of the kitchen efficiently during service.
* Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain smooth operations.
* Ensure all food is prepared and stored in line with food hygiene and safety standards.
* Assist in stock control, rotation, and minimising waste.
* Contribute ideas for menus and specials, bringing creativity and flair to the role.
* Support junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging development.
Skills & Qualities
* Experience working as a Chef de Partie (or strong experience as a Commis ready to step up).
* Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and producing quality dishes.
* Good organisational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Strong communication and teamwork, with a collaborative approach.
* Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
* A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for being part of a new chapter for The Three Tuns.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
