You will be working for a highly reputable and growing group based in Christchurch. You will be managing a small accounts team ensuring the smooth day to day running of the finance function. This is an exciting role for a fantastic organisation that has a number of exciting projects on the horizon.
Your new role
This Finance Manager job is a pivotal role within the finance team, where you will oversee & develop the finance team and working closely with the Financial Controller to provide financial reporting and integrity for several legal entities. You will be responsible for monthly management accounting, budgets & forecasts, cash-flow reporting, VAT, reconciliations and intercompany accounting. This is a busy and varied role, which means you will need to be able to prioritise your workload to achieve deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or be qualified by experience. You will have previous team management experience and excellent organisation & communication skills, as well as a competent Excel user with data manipulation experience. This is a hands-on position within a dynamic and fast-paced company.
