Overview
Holderness Home Care Ltd are looking to recruit a part time Field Care Supervisor.
Holderness Home Care has been providing care to clients within their own home since 2016 keeping them as independent as possible and allowing them to remain in their home. We cover a range of care and support during our visits which include personal care, medication, social calls, shopping calls and cleaning calls. We are looking for someone to work alongside our Field Care Supervisor on a rota basis to cover care calls, compliance, holiday and sickness cover and on call.
Key responsibilities
* Self-motivated and reliable work ethic
* To have a fantastic personable and approachable attitude to clients / staff / other professionals
* To cover care calls (flexibility is a core requirement)
* To ensure high quality care services are provided to vulnerable people living in their own home
* To ensure that each client receives the appropriate care package, and that continuity of care is a priority.
* To provide telephone support to clients and care staff out of hours while on call.
* Assist/suggest continual improvements for positive outcomes for Clients and Holderness Home Care company processes / procedures
* Conducting spot checks
* Attending review meetings with client / family / local authority / health personnel / other professionals, as required
* Creating and updating client care plans and risk assessments.
Experience
* Experience in the care sector is essential.
* A strong understanding of care plans, risk assessments and their implementation is advantageous, however training can be given for the right candidate.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact compassionately with clients and their families.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to drive improvements in service delivery.
Candidates must have the following please:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards.
* The right to work in the UK
* A full and valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
The hours of work will be 7am to 10pm worked on a rota basis, this will be rostered between 2 supervisors.
