About This Role
Join our dynamic Partner Catalogue Management team, where you’ll help create the microsites that our Restaurant Partners use to manage their menus. From editing dish descriptions to adding imagery and checking for policy violations, you’ll work on a variety of front-end and back-end components.
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering highly scalable services using the latest paradigms and architectural patterns. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to bring ideas to life, challenge technical decisions with a pragmatic mindset, and continuously improve both your team and yourself.
Key Ingredients for Success
In our collaborative environment, you and your team will take full responsibility for the development and operation of our platform. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Track your progress towards team goals and communicate transparently with your Technology Manager.
* Adhere to agreed-upon processes, standards, and designs.
* Propose and implement new processes and engineering practices to enhance team effectiveness.
* Contribute to defining product features in workshops with other development teams.
* Communicate your team’s technical work to other product development teams.
* Support your changes all the way through to successful production deployment.
What Will You Bring to the Table?
* Strong experience with Typescript and Vue.js (this role is ~70% frontend focused).
* Backend engineering experience, preferably with C#.
* Knowledge of event-driven architecture and solid understanding of architectural principles.
* Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
* On-call experience, including monitoring and alerting.
* Familiarity with agile processes and team structures.
