Join to apply for the Building Services Engineer (Electrical) role at Pick Everard. This role is based from the Birmingham office and involves delivering high-quality technical and commercial solutions for a diverse range of clients in public and private sectors, including education, custodial, defence, healthcare, data centres, leisure, and commercial developments.
Responsibilities
* Deliver portfolios of work across both the private and public sector.
* Prepare designs, feasibility studies, reports, and contract documents.
* Deputise for senior staff where appropriate.
* Manage contracts.
* Liaise directly with clients and contractors.
* Help ensure projects are delivered on time.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures.
Qualifications
* HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
* Knowledge and understanding of BS7671.
* Familiarity with electrical and lighting design software such as Hevacomp/Amtech/Dialux.
* Excellent communication skills, collaborative and self-motivated.
* Fire alarm and emergency lighting design experience.
* Experience with Revit MEP and hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Structured wiring system and security system design experience.
* Knowledge of current legislation (e.g., Scotland Building Regulations), Low/Zero Carbon Technologies and BREEAM.
