Department: Distribution Centre
Reporting To : Logistics Manager
Shift: Mon – Thursday
8-5, Friday 8-2
In this role you will be expected to maintain the smooth running of production, ensuring the movement of stock into and out of the Site 1, Site 2 and Post Moulding stores is carried out effectively and efficiently along with ordering and communication with suppliers.
Key areas of responsibility, duties and the deliverables expected
:
Compiling EDI forecast for Raw Material, BOPS and masterbatches.
Compiling Paint stocks and replenishing their safety stocks.
Placing purchase orders with nominate suppliers
Raising daily material request pick sheet.
Monitoring deliveries against current stocks
Daily checking of deliveries into DC.
Controlling stock movements from the TR warehouse to various sites within the business
Taking off daily stock adjustments due to stock losses
Signing of works orders.
Placing orders for our sister company in Cairo and ETS
Amending purchase orders to reflect the correct price.
Required education, skills, training or experience:
Good standard of Computer skills using Microsoft programmes.
Experience in Sage
Numerical and focused on accuracy.
Pays attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated
Have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Should be a team player and have ability to coordinate with fellow workers.
Conscientious and flexible.
Remains calm under pressure.
Is exemplary at managing tasks/deadlines and dealing with challenges and instilling this skill into others.
