Hull University Teaching Hospital's Emergency Department is based at Hull Royal Infirmary. The department has recently undergone a 12 million pound redevelopment programme, providing a first‑class facility for our patients.
We are the regional trauma unit and our ED sees over 150,000 patients per year, including a dedicated paediatric ED and primary care area.
Main duties of the job
We seek an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic nurse with a passion for emergency nursing. You will bring a positive attitude to the department and demonstrate a kind and compassionate approach, supporting the matrons and senior nursing team to ensure high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
In a large, fast‑paced environment, you will undertake the senior nursing role, assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care. You will rotate through all areas of the department, including emergency care, initial assessment, streaming and the resuscitation area.

Person Specification
* Registered Nurse with up‑to‑date NMC registration
* Management course completed
* Evidence of research or audit undertaken
* ALC/ATNC certification
