LOCATION: Shireland CBSO Academy GRADE: Band E SCP 18-25, £31,537 - £36,363 per annum pro rata SALARY: £28,262 - £32,586 per annum HOURS: 37 hours per week, Term Time training days The Academy Shireland CBSO Academy is an exciting new school opening to Years 7 and 12 in September 2023 and is the first state school in the country to have a partnership with a professional orchestra. Based in Providence Place, West Bromwich, the Academy will work in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and serve all of Sandwell and the wider West Midlands. The Academy is for all students who have a passion or talent for music – they do not necessarily need to already play an instrument. Shireland CBSO Academy is part of the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust providing staff with opportunities to progress both within the school, and across the Trust.
