We want to talk to you Join our community: This is an exciting and engaging opportunity to work as an IT Analyst within CIO Assisted Channels & KYC, supporting our obsolescence objectives along with our move from mainframe to cloud platform. You'll be working for the IT Project Manager and closely with the IT managers and SME's across CIO Assisted Channels & KYC to meet the 2023 and 2024 commitments for Obsolescence and migration to cloud. You will support planning, monitoring, and testing alongside the QA and IT Product teams. The difference you'll make: Supporting CIO Assisted Channels & KYC teams to complete obsolescence requirements including data gathering, assessment, agreement and validation of plans, deep dives into problem areas etc. Supporting the core team's working practices, managing dependencies and commitment from multiple contributing teams. Liaising with central obsolescence teams to drive right outcome/support for our area. Estimating and appropriately addressing potential issues and risks. Engaging appropriate subject matter resources to effectively resolve technical issues. What you'll bring: Robust IT analyst experience supporting the delivery of changes/enhancements to systems/applications. Experience of working in a cross-functional environment using waterfall and/or Agile methodologies. Experience of Operating System & Database obsolescence/upgrade based projects. Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, activities, making effective judgments as to prioritising and time allocation. Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team. It would also be nice for you to have: Experience of key tools (JIRA, Confluence) a definite advantage. Excellent communication skills and adaptive approach to communicating to peers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders. Pragmatic and dogged determination to identify the relevant teams, stakeholders and technology stacks, to ensure a consolidated view of required activities can be identified and managed across the lifecycle. Understanding of change management methodologies, quality assurance best practice and deployment management to ensure change activities are delivered, while mitigating the impact and risks to systems and customers.
