The Sourcing Department
The Sourcing Team is instrumental in liaising with and building relationships among Buyers, Purchasing Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other industry professionals to source project information and connect these projects with our UK-based Subcontract Manufacturing Members.
The Role Of a Sourcing Telesales Executive
As a Sourcing Telesales Executive at Qimtek, you will play a crucial role in connecting the dots in the UK manufacturing sector. This dynamic and multifaceted position requires exceptional time management and strong B2B experience, as well as a proactive approach in initiating contact with buyers.

* Regional Focus and Client Acquisition
* Project Closure and Member Assistance

* Event Participation
Key Tasks
* Generate a consistent flow of high-quality projects, follow up, and successfully close these projects.
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing contacts in the database.
* Perform data maintenance on the database, ensuring accurate and updated information.
* Engage in cold calling to expand Qimtek's reach within your designated region.
* Act as a conduit of information and support to Qimtek Members, influencing the types of projects required by suppliers.
* Represent Qimtek at tradeshows
Key Performance Measures
* Meeting weekly targets in terms of project quantity, expansion through cold calling, data management, and maintaining a good company-to-project ratio.
* Retention and growth of contacts.
* Maximizing contacts and projects via various channels and contributing to team targets.
* Taking responsibility to ensure your projects are awarded to suppliers
Key Experience Required
* Outbound telesales experience is essential.
* Business-to-Business sales and relationship management experience with a proven track record in a target-driven environment.
* Excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively.
* Experience using LinkedIn
* Proficient in Word and Excel
Key Personal Characteristics
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Highly focused, organized, and possesses strong time management skills.
* Ambitious, target-driven, and a team player.
