Are you an experienced Manufacturing Operative, Sheet Metal Worker, Fettler, Deburrer or Linisher looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a leading aerospace and precision engineering manufacturer, is expanding and looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their fabrication team on a permanent late shift. Working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for the finishing, shaping and preparation of precision metal components using a range of hand tools and specialist equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience using manufacturing hand tools for deburring, fettling, linishing, air grinding or similar metal finishing processes. * Carry out deburring, fettling, linishing, air grinding and finishing operations on precision metal components.
* Safely use a range of manufacturing hand tools and fabrication equipment.
* Cut, shape and form sheet metal components to engineering specifications.
* Complete inspections and quality checks using measuring equipment.
* Read and follow job cards, engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
Sheet Metal Worker Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
* Experience using manufacturing hand tools such as air grinders, deburring, fettling or linishing equipment.
* Previous experience within an engineering, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read and follow technical drawings and manufacturing instructions.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
* Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team.
