Group Commercial Services are recruiting for a Logistics Finance Analyst on a full time, permanent basis. We also welcome part time applications as a job share will be considered.
Reporting into the Logistics Planning and Analysis Manager, the role is responsible for checking and paying all Logistics invoices, the accurate forecasting and financial planning of future costs for planning rounds, budgets and monthly forecasts as well as supporting the Group Vehicle Operations team with administrative tasks.
What you could be doing:
* Responsible for paying bills of £150m annually and creating and implementing processes for checking accuracy of all supplier invoices ensuring no over or under payments.
* Supporting reporting and transparency of supplier costings.
* Supporting the Logistics Planning and Analysis Manager in creation, modification and maintenance of Logistics reports for publication to senior management.
* Ownership of daily logistics reports and all Financial logs including invoice errors, total spend by supplier and annual maintenance spend.
* Responsible for the timely submission of logistics accruals, as well as ownership of the logistics payment process including the raising of all POs to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with purchasing processes.
* Overseeing the management of Fuel Card and Travel System administration, reporting and general administration tasks to support GVO/GCS.
Skills and experience you can bring to role:
* Highly numerate with a meticulous attention to detail.
* Resilient with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Proactive in resolving problems as well as identifying and implementing processes for improvement.
* Strong customer and commercial focus.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
* Good knowledge of SAP R/3 and in future SAP S/4HANA would be advantageous.
