As a member of the Bar and Drawing Room team at Chewton Glen, you are the reason that our Guests keep coming back for more. Our Bar Drawing Room Assistants work part of a team to serve our Guests and create unforgettable experiences for them, exceeding expectations and ensuring that every guest wants to return.
Bar Drawing Room Assistant Responsibilities:
* Constantly seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests and give them the attention that they deserve. Make it your mission to ensure that every guest leaves happy.
* Have expert knowledge of the food and beverages that we offer and create opportunities to keep yourself up to date with our latest cocktail menus to drive sales.
* Confidently deliver the key Bar Drawing Room processes and standards, including our service steps, and demonstrate these consistently, never cutting corners.
* Work well as part of a team, treating others like family and proactively seek out ways to lend a hand.
* Have an eye for detail and very high standards when it comes to our service, hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards.
* Show respect to those in authority and embrace and act on feedback positively, seeing it as an opportunity to learn.
* Maintain our standards at all times, keeping our Bar Drawing Room areas clean and tidy at all times.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience in a similar role, ideally in a luxry hotel or bar enviroment
* A natural communicator with a genuine passion for service
* A proactive, can do attitude an eye for detail
* Strong team platyer who supports colleagues and contributes positively to the team dynamic
* Willingness to elarn and grow, we provide training, but passion comes from you
