Overview

Sales Account Manager - Glasgow at Hilti Great Britain. This field-based role involves direct face-to-face interactions with customers as part of Hilti's direct sales model. You will join a community of 350+ Account Managers in Great Britain and help customers improve productivity, safety, and sustainability through Hilti Tools and Software.


Responsibilities

* Be responsible for the operational, organizational, and strategic sales and account management of your territory.
* Travel to customers in your designated region Monday–Friday to build relationships and expand business by understanding customer needs and providing Hilti solutions.
* Demonstrate Hilti's innovative tools and state-of-the-art software to customers.
* Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage accounts and sales activity.
* Work toward defined sales targets in your region.


What you need

* Have a full, manual UK driving license and willingness to travel; you will make site visits to engage with customers Monday to Friday.
* Have no more than six points on your driving license.
* Be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK. Please note: due to minimum salary thresholds, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for Account Manager roles.
* Proven Sales Account Manager or other sales experience, gained in any industry.
* We are keen to speak to applicants from an Engineering, Construction or Technical background, looking to utilise their knowledge in an exciting new direction.
* Solution-oriented approach, with the ability to uncover customer pain points and provide the best-suited solutions.
* You share Hilti's values – commitment, teamwork, courage and integrity.
* Resilience and adaptability; comfortable meeting with customers at all levels, from Site Operator to Managing Director.
* Drive, curiosity and a motivated approach to achieve success, with a passion to learn, develop and grow.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously to effectively manage your time and priorities.
