Job Description:
Responsibilities
Skills Matrices Management:
* Develop and maintain skills matrices for different roles.
* Regularly assess employee skill levels and identify skills gaps.
* Collaborate with department heads to align skills matrices with departmental needs.
IS Systems Optimization:
* Administer and optimize IS systems, particularly Workday Learning and Quor.
* Spend 50% of working hours in various roles to gain an in-depth understanding of job responsibilities.
* Observe, interview, and interact with employees to identify on-the-job learning needs.
* Collaborate with managers to design and deliver on-the-floor training experiences.
Training Program Development:
* Design, develop, and implement training programs to address identified skills gaps.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content accuracy.
Performance Measurement:
* Establish and track KPIs related to training effectiveness.
* Gather feedback to continuously improve training programs.
* Report on the impact of training initiatives to the Learning and Development Manager.
Compliance and Documentation:
* Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of training attendance and completion.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Collaborate with HR, department managers, and stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
* Assist in succession planning by identifying and developing high-potential employees.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Learning and Development, with a focus on skills matrices and IS systems management.
* Familiarity with Workday Learning and Quor is a significant advantage.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
* Willingness to spend a significant portion of working hours on the floor learning various roles.
