You will support transactions across all industry sectors and all aspects of the Technology Strategy, Cost & Value, Digital and Transformation agenda.The responsibilities of theSenior Managerrole in IT M&A typically includes the following:Developing ourIT M&Aoffer andbuildingcapabilitywithin the ITP team,supportingmarket unitteamsto have M&Aconversationsand developingwinningproposals for their clients.Driving complex technology assessments of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity posture, cloud environments, and digital platforms to uncover risks, quantify technical debt, andidentifyintegration or separation challenges that could materially affect deal value.Leadingand delivering post-merger integration strategies including harmonising IToperatingmodels,consolidatingERP and core systems, planning cloud migrations, and designing digital transformation roadmaps thatacceleratesynergycaptureand enable scalable growth.Leadingtechcarve-out and separation planning incl. defining Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs), orchestrating data migration strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements whilemaintainingbusiness continuity during divestitures.Providingleadershipon emerging technologies and digital capabilities: AI, advanced analytics,cybersecurityand cloud-native architectures-evaluating scalability, interoperability, and alignment with the clients investment thesis and long-term digital strategy.Advisingclientsontranslating complex technical findings into actionable commercial insights, quantifying IT-related costs and risks, and supporting negotiation strategies to maximise deal value and minimise execution risk.As part of your role,you will alsohave the opportunity tocontribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:Business Development Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.Internal contribution Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.Learning & development Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.YOUR PROFILE We are looking forSenior Managerlevel candidates who candemonstratethe following:Evidence ofleading delivery of IT M&A engagements, drivingpositive outcomes and developing opportunities to deliver follow-on work.Evidence of specialism in IT M&AincludingIT due diligence, integration and separation planning, and technology assessments for complex, high-value transactions.Evidence of deep technical and strategicexpertise,including enterprise IT architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity frameworks, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and emerging technologies-combined with the ability to translate technical complexity into actionable commercial insights for clients.Evidence of managing teams, including multiple workstreams in complex delivery environments and the ability to build andmaintaintrusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to quantify and optimise technology-related deal value, including cost modelling,synergyidentification, risk mitigation, and aligning technology strategies with business priorities to maximise transaction success.Desirable Experience Currently working in a major consulting firm, and/or in industry with a consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.Experience of proposition building and delivery.
