Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
* Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft to manage financial data effectively.
* Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making within the organisation.
* Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on best practices in financial accounting and management.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial processes across the organisation.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to promote sound financial planning.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing financial practices.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial accounting and management.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Pay: £22,506.83-£30,000.00 per year
