Kitchen Porter High Wycombe Contract: Full Time, Permanent Salary: 12.81 Hours: 40 per week A private girls' boarding and day school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire for students aged 11-18. Catering for about 1050 students and teachers daily, we offer a core feeding of Breakfast, lunch and supper. Am and PM snacks, 3 feeding locations for breakfast and supper. There is also lots of hospitality provision at this location. This is a 7 day operation so shift patterns would be 5 over 7 days. This location benefits from free parking on site. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in High Wycombe. You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness. Key skills: Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage Excellent customer service skills Great team player Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems. Operate industrial dishwasher We are looking for: Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential. Can do attitude. Organisation Skills. Knowledge / competencies: Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
