Job Description
We're currently working with a leading civil engineering contractor to support a key infrastructure scheme in West Yorkshire, and are looking to engage a Quantity surveyor on a contract basis.
This is a site-based opportunity on a long-term project, offering exposure to a complex and fast-paced delivery environment.
The Role
Working as part of an established commercial team, you'll be supporting across a live project within a cost reimbursable / NEC contract environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Cost capture, reporting and forecasting
* Management and assessment of change / Compensation Events
* Supporting subcontractor management
* Maintaining commercial processes and contract compliance
* Liaising with operational teams on site
Requirements
* Experience operating as a QS within civil engineering or infrastructure
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts (cost reimbursable / target cost experience preferred)
* Ability to operate effectively in a site-based role
* Strong commercial and analytical skillset
