I’m currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in Weymouth that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT looking to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking
* Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
* Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress
* Be a team player with a proactive and positive approach
