Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Passenger Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety during their journey. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service while assisting individuals with varying needs.
Duties
* Welcome passengers and assist them with boarding and alighting from vehicles.
* Provide support to individuals with mobility challenges or special requirements.
* Ensure that all passengers are safely secured during transit.
* Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their needs and provide assistance accordingly.
* Maintain a clean and organised environment within the vehicle.
* Collaborate with drivers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
* Address any passenger queries or concerns in a professional manner.
Qualifications
* Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm and supportive attitude.
* A commitment to promoting safety and comfort for all passengers.

* Experience in a similar role or environment is advantageous but not essential. Ideally you will already hold a passenger assistant badge with Dorset Council
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 22 per week
Work Location: In person
