Role and Responsibilities
The Events Planning & Delivery Manager will report to the Marketing and Hospitality Manager of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire.They will be responsible for preparing for and overseeing the delivery of all types of events held in Cutlers’ Hall.The key responsibilities are:
·Prepare and deliver hospitality events to ensure maximum efficiency.
·Manage immediate customer complaints, where necessary, in an appropriate manner.
·Produce and manage staff work schedules (less chefs and commissionaires) to meet each event requirements.
·Assist with the planning for and management of staffing for events. Including the booking, briefing and supervision of agency and zero hours staff.
·Ensure that supplies, personnel, and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality.This will include ordering and ensuring accurate provision, as directed by the Marketing and Hospitality Manager.
·Assist with and ensure accurate accounting for all drinks and other stock required for delivering events in Cutlers’ Hall.
·Manage post events activity, including the clearance and tidying of the Hall following events, laundry requirements and accounting for staff hours.
·Supervise and evaluate staff.
·Where appropriate train staff for their duties.
·Enforce adherence to Company regulations and all quality standards.
·Ensure that records are kept properly and consistently.
·Review and prepare reports for senior management.
·Deputise for Marketing and Hospitality Manager as/when required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
·GCSE level and above.
Preferred Skills & Experience
·Experience in planning and delivering large dining and social events.
·Strong interpersonal and leadership and people management skills.
·Practical IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalents.
·Conversant with marketing and planning tools such as Events 500 or equivalent.
·Flexibility.
·Problem solving.
·Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Working Pattern Requirements
·This is a full-time contract at 40 hours/week.
·Work will be scheduled by the Marketing and Hospitality Manager to meet event’s requirements.
·The working week will include daytime, evening, and weekend working, dependent on the hospitality schedule.

·Zero Hours staff for hospitality – (less Commissionaires, Chefs & Kitchen Porters)
·Agency Staff for hospitality – (less Chefs & Kitchen Porters)
