Team Leader Compliance Permanent Grade D - £45,091 – £53,460 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week We are seeking an experienced Team Leader t o join our Compliance Team. You will provide day to day leadership and operational management of a team of Compliance Officers to ensure that our service meets legislative requirements and delivers high quality inspections and outcomes based on key data and local intelligence. What you'll do… • Lead, develop, and manage a team of Compliance Officers, providing clear direction and support. • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (Housing Act 2004 and Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014), regulations and internal policies. • Deliver a programme of compliance inspections • Provide authoritative advice, guidance, and support to colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. • Investigate escalated complaints and enquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution. • Represent the property licensing service internally and externally, building strong partnerships with stakeholders. • Support budget planning and ensure quality assurance of documents and decisions. • Remain vigilant to risks including fraud, safeguarding, and safety concerns, making referrals where appropriate.
