The Decontamination Manager will be responsible for the operational management and oversight of the Endoscopy decontamination service, ensuring safe, effective and compliant reprocessing of endoscopic equipment in accordance with national standards including HTM -, JAG accreditation requirements, and Trust policies.
The post holder will line manage the decontamination staff team and ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the decontamination service to support the safe delivery of endoscopy activity.
The role will work closely with the Endoscopy Band leadership team, clinical staff and relevant support services to maintain high standards of infection prevention, equipment safety and regulatory compliance.

Quality and Safety
1. Ensure compliance with national guidance including HTM - and relevant infection prevention standards.
2. Maintain oversight of decontamination processes, ensuring procedures are performed safely and consistently.
3. Monitor quality indicators relating to decontamination processes.
Escalate any risks relating to equipment safety, infection control or service delivery
