Job Title: Subject Specialist
Location: Worksop (S80)
Pay Rate: £85 – £113 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Do you have a passion for your subject and a desire to inspire and engage young learners with your knowledge?

GSL Education are looking to recruit a dedicated Subject Specialist to join a supportive school in Worksop. This role is perfect for individuals with strong subject knowledge who can inspire students, build their confidence, and support them to achieve academic success.

Role Overview:
As a Subject Specialist, you will deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted academic support, and adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities. You will work closely with teaching staff to enhance pupils’ understanding and foster a love for learning in your subject area.

As a Subject Specialist, you will:

* Deliver subject-specific lessons to small groups or individual pupils.
* Support classroom teachers with planning, preparation, and delivery.
* Provide targeted interventions to help raise attainment.
* Adapt resources and approaches to meet diverse learning needs.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements for Subject Specialist:

* Strong knowledge in your specialist subject area.
* Previous teaching, tutoring, or school-based experience (desirable).
* A proactive, confident, and engaging approach to supporting pupils.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
