We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Duties:
- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and grow
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate colleagues
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are preferred
We are a setting open 7am-6pm, so shift patterns would be 7-5.30pm & 7.30-6pm
