TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading tax recruitment agency, is supporting a market-leading firm of chartered accountants in Rochester with the recruitment of a Tax Advisory Manager.
You will join a high-calibre, specialist tax team with an excellent reputation and deep technical expertise across both personal and corporate tax. This role is primarily advisory focused, giving you significant exposure to complex planning and project work, while maintaining oversight of higher-level compliance where needed.

Key responsibilities:
1. Providing high quality tax advisory services to a portfolio of corporate and private clients
2. Delivering advice on a broad range of matters, which may include:
3. Business restructures and reorganisations
4. Share schemes and remuneration planning
5. Corporate and business tax planning
6. Owner-managed business and shareholder planning
7. Residence, domicile and general personal tax planning
8. Inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning
9. Leading and reviewing higher-level corporate and personal tax compliance as required, ensuring advisory and compliance work is aligned
10. Managing and reviewing the work of junior team members, providing guidance, coaching and technical support
11. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, dealing with queries and building strong, long-term relationships
12. Liaising with Partners, the wider tax team and the accounts/audit departments to deliver joined-up advice
13. Handling correspondence and negotiations with HMRC and other external bodies
14. Playing an active role in business development, spotting advisory opportunities and supporting proposals and client pitches
