Key Purpose of Role:
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our commercial team at Turkington Windows & Conservatories. Our local business has a long-established reputation within the industry, having built extensive knowledge and experience since it was founded in 1951.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the candidate of choice will have full responsibility for scheduling our installation teams, site deliveries and aftercare visits. We take our relationships with existing commercial clients very seriously, and the successful individual will be expected to deliver market leading service to our customer base.
Overseeing an existing team of installation professionals in achieving targets to deliver industry leading customer service will be a key aspect of this role, while maintaining SHEQ and RAMS protocols, requiring organisational skills and attention to detail.
The Person:
The person in this role must be self-motivated with good interpersonal skills, planning and organisational capabilities, and a high level of attention to detail. Experience in the windows or construction industry would also be an advantage for this role although not essential. We are also keen to consider strong candidates from other backgrounds as full training will be provided. A strong background in scheduling and experience of CRM software is essential.
Key responsibilities:
· Scheduling installation and transport
· Liaising with site managers by phone and email
· Attending on-site meetings
· The preparation of RAMS in partnership with our company SHEQ Manager
· Co-ordinating with commercial customers to ensure handover dates are met
· Setting, maintaining and auditing department KPIs
· Supporting individual installation teams on a daily basis on all aspects of their role
· Collaborating with the wider operations team
· Working closely with the Commercial Manager to deliver on budgets, ensuring install targets and dates are achieved
· Continuously evaluating and refining systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
· Understanding client needs and industry trends to support growth and development
· Fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity
· Responsibility for complying with and ensuring compliance with the company's health & safety policies and procedures
· SHEQ audits on site to ensure standards are achieved and maintained
· Co-ordinating with the wider JH Turkington Group
Candidate requirements:
* Proven experience in installation management, logistics, or scheduling
* Experience in multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
* Leadership and management experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experience of CRM software
* Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
