Overview
CCW seeks to identify an exceptional individual at an exciting time across the water industry. As a member of the Board and an Accounting Officer, the Chief Executive will spearhead the development of CCW’s business strategy and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our duties. They will also create a compelling vision of success and promote this to all our stakeholders, leading our efforts to develop CCW as an independent, effective, modern consumer representation body that is fit for the future. A key ambassador for the organisation, the Chief Executive will develop excellent relationships across a broad stakeholder community which includes governments in England and Wales, regulators, industry, academia and the consumer interest and protection sectors.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a proven senior leader, an entrepreneurial and innovative individual who can demonstrate a track record devising and delivering strategy for complex organisations. Analytical and intellectually rigorous, you will have designed transformational and structural change, and are confident in securing finance and working with complex funding models. You have the confidence and impact to represent our organisation with stakeholders at the highest levels, ensuring CCW has a respected voice in sector debate.
Qualifications
Experience in the water industry would be useful, as would a track record in regulation, utilities and the consumer sector as well as the wider public sector. Applications from those who are already a Chief Executive are welcome, but we also welcome interest from people with the potential to take the next step in their careers.
Salary and Location
Salary: £130,000. Birmingham – Agile working with regular office presence and national travel required.
