In this role you will lead, shape and drive key services, efficiencies, and process improvements across Finance Operations.

What you'll be doing
* Lead and enhance key finance operations including payments, collections, authorities and the controls surrounding these processes
* Collaborate across team to deliver multiple initiatives and projects across the group, working with both finance and non-finance colleagues to achieve shared goals
* Streamline operations by implementing efficient, consistent and simplified processes in partnership with the operations team
* Stay up to date with changes in finance payment regulations, collections and banking requirements, and help shape compliance strategies with the leadership team
* Support and guide group businesses to deliver high-quality service to customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders while maintaining strong financial controls
What you'll need to have
* Proven experience in operational finance including payments, collections, banking and treasury with a solid understanding of payment platforms
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at any one time
* A process-orientated mindset with the ability to identify gaps, suggest improvements and drive change collaboratively.
* Confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels and escalating issues when necessary to ensure resolution.
* Advanced excel skills and a solid understanding of financial risk and control frameworks
